Terms of Service
Effective June 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of Website Up. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Website Up monitors a website you own and notifies you when it detects an issue. We aim to be accurate and timely, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that we will detect every issue, or that monitoring will be uninterrupted or error-free. Website Up is a helper, not a replacement for your own backups, security, and hosting.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Subscriptions and billing
Website Up offers Free, Normal, and Premium plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with advance notice.
Acceptable use
You may only monitor websites that you own or are authorized to manage. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts it for others.
Alerts disclaimer
While we work hard to deliver timely alerts, we are not responsible for missed or delayed alerts, or for any loss resulting from website downtime, domain expiry, security incidents, or other issues. You remain responsible for your website.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Website Up is provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the updated version here.
